- Ample knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS/SCSS
- Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular
- Experience in writing meaningful unit tests using Qunit or similar libraries.
- Experience in developing accessible applications using the accessibility standards
- Knowledge of webpack, babel, or similar bundler
- Creating mockups/prototypes for POCs
- C#, ASP.NET MVC, WebAPI, RESTful Services
- SOLID Principles and Practices, IoC & TDD
- MS SQL, Raven DB, EntityFramework
- Experience with Git, GitHub and AzureDevOps

The Role
Rakuten Kobo is looking for an Intermediate Front-End Developer to join our dedicated Accessibility team that helps make sure our browsing experience is seamlessly available for all our customers. This position will be a primary contributor to our organization's effort to make our site comply with the AODA standards.
